Jungle Island was created with Cosmo Worlds 1.0. HTML images were created in Photoshop 3.0. Jungle Island uses several different VRML 2.0 features, including: proximity sensors which trigger animations, an animated texture for the waterfall, spatialized audio, and keyframe animations for indigenous lifeforms.
